FROM THE CAREER CENTER
You are invited to Williams’ first Advertising, Media, and Communications Career Trek in New York City! No experience necessary. This amazing two-day trek to New York City will give you the opportunity to explore a wide variety of careers in the advertising, media, and communications industries. We will be visiting The New York Times, VaynerMedia, Deutsch, Google, Marketplace (APM) and more! Highlights of this trek include meeting with Williams alumni serving in many different roles, speakers, and tours. In addition, we will have an evening networking reception hosted by VaynerMedia at their beautiful Hudson Yards Headquarters. This is a fantastic chance to meet alumni working in many different fields, immerse yourself in what they do and how they got there, and learn more about future career opportunities. To apply, please submit your resume and a brief response(s) to the prompts below by January 6, 2019. This is an experiential trip so no experience is required, however we do want to understand what you hope to gain from the experience. Questions: How does this trek fit into your career exploration goals? What are you most hoping to learn from attending this trek? What is one question that you’d like to have answered during the two-day event? There is no cost for this trip. This is a professional commitment and if you are selected for the trek and confirm your attendance, you are absolutely expected to show up for departure on time. The ’68 Center for Career Exploration recruiting guidelines apply to this event. The application for this career trek is due on Sunday, January 6, 2019.
